version control

I co-authored a commentary in the Epidemiology entitled “Advancing reproducible research through version control technology” led by Dr. Ghassan Hamra. We introduce version control and explain why we believe all epidemiologists should use it within their workflows to support reproducible research.

I co-instructed a workshop at the Society for Epidemiologic Research Annual Meeting 2024 entitled “Git’n up to speed on versioning control.” The workshop was an introduction to the Git language and other Git-enabled technology for epidemiologists to version control their software code.
